What is Diablo 4 Compass to Carnage?
This is a limited-time in-game event. According to the official announcement, it will run from November 4th to November 11th.
What changes will occur during the event?
1. For every Infernal Compass you obtain, you will receive an additional one, meaning players will receive twice as many compass consumables as before.
2. The number of Chaos Waves in Infernal Hordes mode has increased. To some extent, this increases the difficulty of the challenge, but players will receive even richer rewards after completing it!
3. Viz-Jaq’taar The Veneration reputation panel is becoming easier to obtain, and with the season ending soon, this is the last chance to acquire it. Interested players should pay close attention.
What is an Infernal Compass? How is it related to Infernal Hordes mode?
Entering Infernal Hordes mode requires an Infernal Compass. If players want to challenge the more difficult Infernal Hordes mode with more beams, they need to upgrade their Infernal Compass to the corresponding level, with a maximum level of 8. Of course, the rewards increase with the difficulty level.
How to obtain and upgrade an Infernal Compass?
Players can craft it at the Mystic by spending a certain amount of Diablo 4 gold, or obtain it through drops from Helltides, Nightmare Dungeons, and Tree of Whispers caches. Upgrading it requires Abyssal Scrolls.
Overall, this is a very rare opportunity for players to participate in twice the number of Infernal Hordes. On the other hand, if players want to upgrade their level (4-8)... This is a crucial period (until you reach a certain level) or complete the reputation leaderboard.

Before the event starts:
- Make sure you have unlocked Infernal Hordes or completed "The Eyes of the Enemy" in Zarbinzet to ensure you can participate.
- Clean up your storage/inventory; we need more space for compasses and materials. Oh, and don't forget to check your build; this is essential for efficient event completion.
After the event starts:
